The HoneyBoy Guitar Preamp
This is a one of a kind custom build for Steve "HoneyBoy" Vuich.  I had been
looking over a very cool website,
www.runoffgroove.com, and thought these
designs are really cool.  I wanted to build a useful preamp for Steve to use
that will fit into his guitar case and sound very much like an amp rather than a
straight up distortion.  This is what I made.

It's a Professor Tweed and an English Channel built into a convenient pedal.
There's very minor changes such as the Bright switch.  One thing you may
have already noticed, it's not bypassable.  That's simply because it's not
meant to be a distortion but rather a preamp.  Now he can just go straight to a
P.A. without hauling around an amp or he can go into someone else's amp
and still have his sound.  You could run this right into a power amp and blast.

The inside is pretty clean and easy enough.  It's about 7x4 so it has a
footprint.  One nice bit is a reverb or delay can go after it and have the chain
in the correct order.
