The HoneySquezr

Finally after months of development the HoneySquezr is here!
Production is up and running. The production units have hand made
circuit boards unlike the proto-types.
The HoneySquezr is another in our line of two effects in one box. It is a
simple but effective Compressor, the Squeeze, in front of a simple but
incredible tube-like Distortion, affectionately named Honey. The Honey
is specifically designed for crushing the front end of a tube amp into
sonic bliss. It does this with amazing results.
WARNING: Although the total tonal gain of the HoneySquezr is
roughly the distortion of an Angus Young Marshall tone, this
increase is high enough to possibly DAMAGE the input of a
SOLID-STATE amp!! COOL!! As yet this hasn't happened but the
potential is there. We recommend that if you're using a
SOLID-STATE amp that you either take care not to have the
overall increase radically higher than the bypass signal or just
don't purchase the HoneySquezr. Fair warning given, UEE will
not be held responsible for frying pedals or solid-state
connected to the HoneySquezr.

The Squeeze consists of a Level control and a Sustain switch on the side. In
development it was decided that using a pot control for sustain wasn't
necessary if we could determine the two most used settings on most
compressors and we came to the conclusion that full up and about 2/3rds up
would be ideal and used a switch to change this. This allowed us to retain our
signature chassis. The Squeeze is ideal for rhythm playing in the 2/3rd
setting and huge sustain for soloing in the full on setting. The Level can easy
act as a boost in itself.
The Honey is a two gain stage boost with NO CLIPPING DIODES! It has an
impressive variation between the two controls and can sound like anything
from a Fender to a 80's era Marshall. Putting this into the front end of a clean
tube amp, the total boost will be so huge it has to be heard to be believed and
yet this boost is stable and VERY USABLE!! There's a Bright switch on the
side which is the same value as a Vox AC30 bright channel and just adds
more flexibility.

In closing, we believe the Uncle Ernie's HoneySquezr to be the most useful,
easy to use pedal for the discriminating lead player. It is the most flexible
pedal in our line and with little effort again achieves our goal of building
distortion pedals that take a single channel tube amp and give it three tones
with the use of a single compact stomp box. Hopefully we'll have some
samples soon.
